Really a nice shot. My only 2 issues lie with the harshness of the shadows from the flash. One: on the hand and arm and pencil and Two: the desk and that tiny bit of shadow is distracting. Good portraiture rids itself of harsh shadows.

I do like the set up and that child looks "thrilled" (hehe) to be doing homework. Nice penmanship, btw.

I would never have known that a dragon fly had so much detail to photograph. The hot spot at the head, and a tighter crop than ideal will hurt the score a bit, but this is an amazing shot. 8
