Web Geometryby JunieMoonComment by MelonMusketeer: This is a sweet shot. The even size and spacing of the droplets and the angular lines make the image for me. The fly is a bonus. B&W is the right thing for this high contrast to look great too. |

Prickly Circleby JunieMoonComment by MelonMusketeer: This is a bit similar to my entry for the "Bokeh" challenge a while back. The voters seem to have an aversion to cactus for some reason.
I also see the white around the thorns. I know that this was shot a long time ago, and it was a good digital shot for the day. I like the star pattern in the top of the cactus. |

White and Glorious by JunieMoonComment by plim: really? wow, i've never seen an albino peacock... awesome catch. i would have given higher score if the white "popped" more like on the upper right, but then i guess it would've really blown out that part of it... anyway, great shot! |

White and Glorious by JunieMoonComment by sanschag: Overall, the bird is in a nice pose. However, I find at least 3 problems with the image: 1) the bird's neck/head is underexposed, 2) the far right brightness distracts from bird, and 3) the right third or so of the image isn't interesting. Cropping out the right part of the image would solve 2 and 3 and enhance the image. |
