Reducing a view to its most simple is often the key to capturing the best image. You remind me that some locations are especially good for doing so and that the long view sometimes excels.

The mule looks like it's saying - man, this star is making me look ridiculous. Excellent catch. I kind of like the cut off man and cut off mule nose - gives it an immediate feel with a lot of intensity.

Yes - I know what you mean. There is a beach about 40 minutes away from me where these guys actually put on a water ski and surf the waves. When they decide to come in to shore, bystanders have to be very watchful because the ski is locked onto one foot. Nice shot Germaine.
