Besides having a terrific subject, you have done great stuff with her. Color, wow. I love your choice to stick with all reds, hair shirt lips bricks - it emphasizes her red hair. then your choice to use only one accent color, her jewelry mimicing the eyes makes the eyes into jewels. Nice. The crop is wonderful - just a bit too close on three sides and room on the fourth, it brings her right out of the frame. And the grain, of course, is delightful and matches the punky gritty look the kid is trying to display, keeps her from looking cute or sweet or any of those adjectives that kids hate. |
