i love it when you get shadows on petals or grass or stuff like that from behind .. its a great look .. the more i look at this the better i like it .. the clarity and lighting on the lower flower at its centre is stunning .. the colours are so natural and delicate .. a very beautiful image enzo .. like WOW .. !!!..:)

its a very poignant image none the less ..
it must be very difficult processing on a less than perfect computer/monitor etc ..
i did it once when we were in queensland at the beginning of this year and i used the laptop .. for starters i hadnt had any sleep and then i picked an image that i wouldnt have chosen to process in my wildest dreams on my home computer .. probably holiday madness .. !! .. anyhoooooo .. unfortunately i'd done a self dq a couple of challenges before it and couldnt take it out .. at least you got a much better score than i got on this .. embarrassing really ..
anyhoooo ... i've read your comments about the situation for this woman .. constantly when i visit your portfolio i am brought up short .. reminded of the good things in my life and the squalor that some ppl face .. its a nearly prehistoric attitude i reckon jailing ppl who have no other choice .. and their children, without the help of ppl like you, are only going to continue the cycle ..
i cant imagine how this woman would feel if a child of hers was out there alone .. :)

I usually don't comment on technical aspects of a photograph,
BUT, I think that you overedited this, otherwise, very compelling scene. You tried to make it look "pretty", but don't get me wrong- pretty in that eyecandy way. With a subject like this I'd prefer it to look more natural and less "bigger than life". Otherwise, you captured a wonderful moment.
