Wistfulby SJCarterComment by sanx: This WOULD be wistful if everything wasn't so sharp. I think a little cropping would improve it, too. |

Swinging Foot Bridge Entranceby SJCarterComment by dahkota: Now this one I love. The color of the mountain in the back is kind of funky but I think you did great on the bridge. The composition, the angle, the POV. The hint of light in the trees give them depth. |

Fawning Barnby SJCarterComment by dahkota: See - I have the same image! Well, not quite. But almost! I like the subtleness of the color but I wish oyu had left just a hint of green and/or yellow in the trees and grass. Really like the angle. |

Swinging Foot Bridge Entranceby SJCarterComment by Rikki: The old rickety bridge shot :) I like this one. It appeals to me and not by composition alone but by the character of this old lad. I wonder how many people he's helped cross to the other side. How about a 10pixel stroke for a frame? Maybe that would make it stand out even prouder :) |

Fawning Barnby SJCarterComment by Rikki: Very nice selective desat Jimmy! I like the colors of the barn and the textures as well. The sky is blown out. Can you burn it? Or was it just a gloomy day so you decided to do a desat? By the way, you forgot that bit of green by the left roof edge :) Great image! |

Blueby SJCarterComment by Tammer: For my untrained eye this is just way too overexposed. I do like the composition. |

Smith Mountain Lake Sun Raysby SJCarterComment by kearock: This is a really neat effect you've captured. You don't often see things like this with the rays going up in addition to down. The exposure seems a little uneven. I'd like to see more color in the sky just above the middle horizon. I'm sure this was difficult though...sky scenes like this are always a pain, but maybe a bit of dodge and burn could bring that out a little more. |
