Hehehe - great title! I haven't seen the original shot, but I do like this processing. I do, however, feel like it's a little flat. I think it's because of where the tree to the left is with respect to the outhouse. I wish it were back further, but that's not exactly something you could fix. Maybe if you shot it from a slightly different angle, from the right of the outhouse, so that the tree would appear to be a bit further behind it? But then your lighting might have been off. I don't know... just some random thoughts.

I really like this, I especially like how you've not overexposed the sky. I was taking similar shots ont he weekend and the sky is blown on all of them. Like others have said, the dark area is about the only thing that ever-so-slightly detracts from the image. Good job!

Great use of bold color! They really pop right off the dark background. Also, your reflection is nice and clear. I'm guessing that the bluish/greenish patches in the reflection is the sky, right? I find them a little distracting (see the lower right corner), but I don't know what you really could do about them. All in all, a terrific shot!

Oooooooo! Creepy! Fantastic use of photoshop, although I'm sure you started out with a great photo. Excellent composition. Were you looking in a mirror to set yourself up properly?

hehe, Pretty cool shot :-) I really like the tone here, has a great feel and suits the image well. Really nice, interesting presentation of a 'crappy' subject ;-) hehehe. I like it. I have actually thought of wanting to do a shot like this, but, we just don't have quaint, charming, cool outhouses like that around these parts :-P Some parts almost look on the verge of being oversharpened, but that may just be due to personal taste. Nice job.

Nice strong composition. Love the colors. I've seen similar shots, I really like the whimsical feel of having several leaves like you have done here as opposed to just one floating leaf. Really good take on a classic theme :-)

Awesome shot Jimmy. The processing is really cool, did you use a filter? The lighting is great, I like how the image fades into the darkness. Yes, very eery feeling, great mood in the shot. I also like the narrow crop, I think it works well for the image. The centered comp here works well, it looks good. It might be cool to do a version with the subject framed to the side looking into the darkness too. And the title is very fitting. This probably would have done well in the challenge. Really cool shot.

I like the contrast between the darkness of the water, and the brightly colored leaves.

What a beautiful shot! Terrific composition and colors. The only thing I think could be improved upon is the dark area in the upper right. Perhaps some level adjustment in Photoshop would help? Otherwise, perhaps a longer exposure time would have worked (but not too much longer - love how clear the reflection is in the river).

***Greeting from the Critique Club***

Lets start by looking at the whole picture...I love the black backgroung. I think it goes great with the cloth you have on. Looking at the eyes really draws me into the picture. In other words, they're at a good level!

This is the part I don't like doing...but the problem I see wrong with the picture is the hand is just in the way. Maybe if it was more like your Wraith picture it would have helped. I would have liked to seen more of the models face. Maybe the hand under the chin would have helped.

I hope my critique helps...
Phillip
