Closed Doorsby SJCarterComment by divadaedalus: Oh Jimmy we are ALL pulling for you. Guess ursala has never been in this situation. I am (usually) quite clean but know what it feels like to want to "crumble" outside when yet another interview does not come through. Love you ALWAYS, Sis, Greeley, Caledonia and Calliope |

Mapleby SJCarterComment by owen: Very nice red on red, looks good. I think I would have liked all or more of the front leaf in focus. |

Treasuresby SJCarterComment by ursula: I like the star and shadow. The out of focus shell towards the back doesn't add all that much IMHO, it maybe even confuses the image. The horizon line (edge of table or whatever) is not straight, and it isn't slanted enough to be intentional. I wonder how it would be to have an image of just the star on white, with shadow (experiment with light to get the best shadow), no horizon line. ~5 |

Treasuresby SJCarterComment by glad2badad: Very good details on the foreground starfish. I understand your use of DOF to make the background shell an item of interest but not the primary. The big thing that holds this back for me is the seam from wall to floor (back to bottom, however you want to label it...). Best of luck to you in the challenge. |
