Didn't vote (yet again) but I did sneak a peek and one of the things I saw was this. I thought it might be JPR! I'm so dumb; I did not initially make the rotate call and spent a moment wondering what kind of structure this could be, and why it had lights along one side. I even wondered about the woman standing on tippy-toes, flattened against the wall! The clever title held all the clues; I was just slow.
The effect is to suggest a sort of sideways vertigo. It's another cerebral Dahkota photograph that makes some demands of the viewer (nearly too many for me, evidently). And it's not too dark on my 20" i-Mac, although the histogram makes interesting viewing; if the white point is moved to the "correct" position, the images loses some of its enigma, and so some of its point. Better just where it is.

Yes, this works. One imagines something really bad happened on this creek, and it's being covered up. Nice sculptural light and regal trees.
