I really wanted to go shoot the Capitol Building or the white house. After the challenge I'll post an image I already have, if no one submitted one for the challenge. I don't expect this to do well, but just in case I make it through the next round of the MS challenge, I gotta submit something.

If you pull this into photoshop, you'll see the inversion. Pretty basic - curves, sat, resize, save for web... Tried it with a white background. I suck at white backgrounds. We'll leave it at that. :)

__________________________________________

This image is now on its way to the DQ pile. My first!! When I was taking this picture in my home studio, I shot a couple, stuck the card in my computer, tweaked, ran back to the camera, etc. When I got to one I liked, I stopped, edited and posted. I never downloaded the image to my hard drive. I had a busy week photographically so wrote over the image at least a time or two - I have shot more than 500 pics since then. :)

You live and you learn. I will NEVER make this mistake again. I hope. My sincere apologies for any problem my mistake has caused.

One of the rare ones where I actually prefer the positive. Colors are indeed intersting in reverse, though!

Nicely done. I think simplicity and strong graphical emphasis, like this, works best in this negative format.

Beautiful photo. I did some of these myself. If I had know that they could come out this good I would have submitted them. Yours are much better than mine. The composition is great as well. Very fluid, Very simple, Very orderly, very delicate............
