Thank you Roz for your very nice comment. This is a male goldfinch. They are more colorful than the females. I planted sunflowers in my yard and deck. The goldfinches love the seeds and become more prevalent this time of year because they feed the seeds to their young. |

Wow! Thank you for the 10 and your very kind comment. Just lucky to be at the right place at the right time. I had been hoping a hummer would show up at this flower as it stood above a patch of wildflowers I had planted. I had been periodically looking at it and know the hummers are most hungry in the morning. The sun was coming up and cast the perfect light on the backround. The bee was a bonus! |
