it was going to snow so I put the ladder out the night before. I have bird feeders on my deck so I knew the birds would appear for breakfast. I set my camera up early and prefocused on the ladder, coaxed the blue jay to the ladder with some bird seed. I got this capture on the first try so the snow was fresh. Lucky shot!

as this opened up and it slowly revealed itself i was really liking it ..
THEN THE CAT .. !!!! .. took this to a whole other level ..
brilliant .. the cat has totally made this for me .. and i'm thinking it could do very well in the challenge ..
what i particularly like is that cats usually have a mind of their own .. so the fact that he or she is so strategically placed in the photo .. is like a little miracle .. wonderful on all levels .. :)
