I love the image, Larry! I just don't think it fits the challenge topic. Translucent and transparent are two very different things.

I love the colors and that bokeh!!

The translucency of the cast molt, of life itself. Beautifully presented, fine composition and congenial colors. Must admit I prefer circular bokeh, but yours are still fascinating. Thank you for showing this glowing artifact of change.

i've read that there are so many cicadas in the US lately that dogs are eating them and then throwing them up .. apparently not a health hazard .. ;)
its a great image for the challenge .. and i feel i know who put this together .. good luck in the challenge .. :)
