i think i can smell it from here .. lol . altho by now its probably lost that powerful dead smell ..
it is a confronting image, and not many people like to see death in its ugliness ..
its an interesting shot for its details .. like the decomposition .. all the hair nearly gone .. the ears gone entirely .. the skull becoming visible .. etc etc .. cant help feeling sorry for the little guy even if he was a rodent .. hope he's in a happier place chasing a huge block of cheese .. lol ..
changed my mind, i think he'd prefer to be in a place where he can eat as much grain as he wants .. :)

This is a nice photo, however the lighting and perhaps the B&W conversion is letting it down.
Try to avoid using the on camera flash.
In the B&W conversion I think a bit more contrast could have been added
