Initial reaction: My kinda shot. To the left, but where is that? What's there? The posts remind me of chess pieces, or some weird alien soldiers. The city in the distance seems totally oblivious to what's taking place on this side of the water. It's a very cool story.

Technicals: Good stuff here. The lights above the arrow will be considered blown by some. I like the glow. Were this advanced editing, I'd suggest toning down the wood railing a bit (burning or selective levels, etc) to emphasize the sign and lights even more. Sky is very good, especially right over the city.

Meets challenge - yep, looks like it does to me.

The sky takes up half the shot, and the sign is too high. Nice exposure but doesn;t meet the challenge very well.
