Lonely Nightsby RulerZigzagComment by colorcarnival: I like the illumination on the man and the background has a nice soft glow. I just wonder how it would look if some of the background, including the ceiling, were cropped out to put more focus on your subject. |

Mothmanby RulerZigzagComment by L2: This makes me shiver because the detail is so good. Seriously. I've got goosebumps but in a good way. |

Look at what you did!!! This is such a great essay on modern culture, on consumerism, on the overload of information, just amazing. could that guy be any more perfect if you had cast this and scheduled a shoot?
The processing on him is a little sloppy - the front of his face burned into the shelf behind it, the shorts and shirt feel like the burning bled into them too. The face is the key point here, the puzzlement the message of the whole shot IMO, so I'm going 9 instead of the 10. But what a great catch. and if you staged it, way to stage a candid! |

The Consumerby RulerZigzagComment by KaDi: Interesting setting and idea. I like the perspective lines. Would be a little more interesting if the person were reaching for something rather than just reading the shelf. Color balance feels too far off on the blue side. I'd also prefer seeing the person in focus rather than the cold case at the end of the aisle. |
