Spidermanby VinceDossComment by Beagleboy: Too bad this is underexposed. I also think an off-center composition would have been better. |

Spidermanby VinceDossComment by Konador: Despite what all the books say, I think the centered composition here works well. His bored expression plays against the "fun" we think of when we think about facepainting. A very good shot :) |

Walking in the darkby VinceDossComment by Jutilda: I like this but I think it might be more effective if it were a closer zoom. Spider webs are great natural architecture and make for wonderful photos. |

Walking in the darkby VinceDossComment by notonline: :S the focus is a little off. Also the hotspot on the chain is very distracting. Perhaps if it was a little lighter would have made the shot more appealing for me. I do like your composition of the shot tho. Good luck in this challenge. <5> |

Walking in the darkby VinceDossComment by totaldis: dunno, just seems like a boring shot.
------------email-reply-------------
the picture just doesn't do anything for me. the subject is a spider web underneath a chainlink fence. the lighting highlights the chains instead of the main subject so it draws the eyes away. the background to the shot is (grass?) also does nothing to put perspective onto the foreground. regardless of the main subject, everything in the picture should add something to the photo.
forgive me for giving you such a rudimentary comment, if this doesn't satisfy it i'll be happy to remove it all together. |
