Fern Furlingby poeticphotoComment by Brad: Nice subject matter and composition. When you get a chance, try taking the brightness down a litle and adding a touch of contrast. BTDT. Nice shot. |

Fern Furlingby poeticphotoComment by Skip: aren't these things amazing? i hope this isn't getting overlooked in this super-sized challenge, and that you are getting good feedback. i love the background that you've captured, but i also feel that you have cropped it a bit too tight on the top, and not enough on the right. but hey, that's just my opinion. you have a nice image here, and i thank you for sharing. good luck with this, and all the challenges yet to come! |

Fern Furlingby poeticphotoComment by samtrundle: Nice dof and not a bad subject, could probably (in my opinion) use a bit of a bump in saturation and/or contrast to make it stand out a little more. |

Ice Cyclesby poeticphotoComment by GeneralE: Those are really interesting -- as you point out, most of us have never encountered (or looked for) these.
If your camera has a time-lapse feature, it be fantastic to shoot this window every few minutes through the night and watch them grow ... easy to make the series of frames into a movie. |

Ice Cyclesby poeticphotoComment by Kavey: Absolutely stunning study of an aspect of nature that most of us pass by without noticing! |
