i find the posture emotive .. he looks almost downhearted .. dejected ..
thats the beauty of photography .. the camera can lie .. !! ..
if he is a swimmer he probably felt quite the opposite with all those endorphins raging thru his system ..
i'm loving your black and white process .. the high contrast .. the shadows .. everything .. this has a nixter feel about it which is quite a compliment .. :)

Nice job, Deb — two favs and an excellent placement. It is a charming photo. Too bad about the woman’s nose missing. And with the alternate crop, you lose one of the pigeons. Tough call. But I would have scored it higher if the half-face weren’t distracting.
