Oh I agree - you should definately have gone with this and not your forklifts.
This is so beautiful and the tint is just perfect for this. My guess is that this would get a +6 score...

Try this to add contrast. Add a curves layer, but don't make any adjustments, just change the blending mode to overlay. Adjust the opacity to suite. : )

I prefer this a bit over the B&W version. The DOF with the blurred plants makes for an interesting composition.
