4.52 Coot and cobblesby MelethiaComment by SandyP: Ohhhh Deb! I am looking so forward to a whole year of being able to share your work. I just love your take on things! You make the simple so emotive and striking! I love the high contrast and the perfect position of seeing the bird from behind (so as not to intrude on the scene), yet, being able to see his face. And I love the leading lines and texture of that brick.
WELCOME HOME !!!!! As much as I LOVED your Middle East photos -- this is like a Melethia breath of fresh air :)

4.52 Coot and cobblesby MelethiaComment by Bud: The lines are great - I like the gentle curves. Enough dof to enhance the lines without distracting from the subject. |

4.52 Coot and cobblesby MelethiaComment by hajeka: It's always difficult to create nice photos on those gray days. The pattern of the cobbles and the lines are beautiful. (perhaps giving the coot less attention than it deserves). |

4.52 Coot and cobblesby MelethiaComment by Veiolets: I really like the comp and the detail in the feathers. Wish there had been a bit of "fill light" to show some detail in the head and bill. |

4.52 Coot and cobblesby MelethiaComment by pawdrix: This is great. The swoop of the cobblestone and the lone bird feeding makes this quite serene. One of your best, imo. Message edited by author 2008-01-26 08:31:10. |

Aweby MelethiaComment by Yo_Spiff: Not sure I care for the distorted perspective, but I really like the processing effects to show off the details. |
