Great shot! That little tinge of color adds a completely different perspective to the entire photo!

King Ludwig's favorite composer was Richard Wagner - there is a plaque in the courtyard about him and the grotto in Neuschwantstein was from one of Wagner's plays.
Back through my great grandmother we are somehow related to Wagner so when I saw this place firsthand - it was like seeing some of my family history. Absolutely fantastic!

Neuschwanstein! I visited this castle back in '98. It is beautiful inside and out. I love the perspective here with the bright colors in the foreground.

Love the framing with the tiny leaves. Adds a little extra without covering anything up too much. Great choice to go b/w with this one too. I think the shapes are the most important thing here and color would have just gotten in the way.
