I'm not sure that a change in dof would be good here. My eye is drawn around the image, especially to the posters, then travels to the man and back to the subject. Like the shot.

I like the filter on this. It makes me think of the wind blowing and blending the feathers, sand, and water all together. I like the brown and blue tones too - fits well with the overcast skies and seascape setting. It's very cool - there's lots of fun stuff to look at in here.

Very nice delicate touch, and the texture helps bring out the decay in the rose petals - not in a harsh dismissive way, but combined with the gentle colours add an air of poignancy to the summer that was - still just about tangible but clearly fading into the past.

Anyone who spend more than 2 seconds looking at the shot would have realized it was indoors. The pose, the hose, the white all works nicely together. The perspective you were shooting from seems a bit non-ideal (as if you really wanted to be shooting a bit more left of where you are) but I really liked it during voting and gave it a very solid 7.
