This certainly has a vintage feel with the older guy and his accordian, as well as the slight fadedness of the vignette. Nice!!

Great capture, Deb. This has an almost HDR 3-D effect. I love the shadow of the guy on the right and the one on the left in mid-yawn. Your people/city shots are great. All I see around here is dead grass. LOL

Like the expression on the accordion player's face. I think the light vignette is a little overdone. This shot has a lovely historic feel to it. I like your work a lot.

Love the way you got the man's shadow on the column. It looks Hitchcockian, like the guy is a spy about to make a secret drop for a KGB mole. Great shot if it's making me invent backstories for the characters portrayed.
I, too, have been eyeing Silver Efex but am daunted by the price tag.

Great looking shot! I love the guy's shadow perfectly aligned on the column, that is VERY cool. Excellent processing as well. I was on the fence too about dropping $200 for Silver Efex Pro; had a few cool presets but I couldn't justify the $$. Then I discovered how to adjust the presets past the obvious brightness, contrast and structure controls; WOW how worth it! Play with the film types and stylizing controls; you can adjust amount of grain, the color tone, vignetting, so many cool things. I bought it last week :-)

Of course the shadow is wonderful, and I also really like the guy on the left, looks like he's yawning haha. I think that because it's so prominent, that big pole in the center needs to be perfectly vertical though.

That's a great shot, "timeless" comes to mind. That processing gives this a real vintage feel. Might just be worth that $200! (I spend other people's money with abandon!)
