Journeyby rblantonComment by amber: I love the colour in this image...it reminds me of something from childhood, but I can't think what...those Spangle sweets? (70's UK) I love the sinuous line that leads the eye around the image....I just wanting to keep looking - even though I hate spiders - can you do a copy without the spider for me after the challenge:) 10 |

belle-dameby rblantonComment by emorgan49: what an odd view of a flower, so unusual. THe center stuff looks like vegetables - to remind us that all flora are related to one another? the gentle white petals forming your natural frame are lovely in the way that they mimic the shape of the stamen/piston contraption. Also the colors are wonderfully intriguing - a pure white flower, no color to the petals. Inside a rainbow of colors, violet, pink/tan, greens and yellows. Same contrast with the textures smooth petals, pokey/curly/spikey center. One would think that the color/texturecontrast would introduce some tension in the image but it remains gentle and peaceful, probably because of our choice to point the stamen downwards. |

Journeyby rblantonComment by datcat: This is cute, you have managed to make me feel sympathetic towards the bug. I like the silhouette, the colour and the obscure destination. |

belle-dameby rblantonComment by L1: Wow what a unique perspective for a flower picture. I love the textures and the diagonal composition. I might have cropped it ever so slightly more on the top and right, just to eliminate the tiny triangle in the center on top, but it's no biggie. Lovely capture!!! :o) |
