I had a lot of trouble appreciating this shot on my i-pad (and God knows why I cannot vote on the i-pad). Therefore I look at it now and shake your hand.

The image is charming and the title is insightful and cogent. A long look at this half-gone boat is encouraged by its foreground placement and its lighting, as if highlighted by sunlight on an overcast day. I like the way the vignette enhances this impression. As for the sad truth of the title, I can't, fortunately for all, bear to get started.
