totally missed the door until i read other ppl's comments .. !!
and now my sense of size is all out .. if that was a full sized door then the boat would be a lot bigger than i originally thought .. its also amazing how such a simple shot when studied becomes a lot more .. the lining up of the boat and the wharf and the other boat .. the light and shadows .. the ropes .. the colours .. its a great image .. :)

LOL! I guess they needed a wider perch. I spent so much time as a kid/teen on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland, I miss having this stuff around me. And I really miss having that kind of access to the crabs!
