No Michelle, it was just some out of blue Friday night "experiment" at my friend's house - he happened to have some dry ice and we started to look around to see what can we compose with it. Found a pomegranate, and a plaster hand :). I thought it could work as a dark-humored postcard for Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year): Pomegranate is one of symbolic foods for it along with apples and honey.
