The photography here is simply stunning on a technical level--as per usual for your portfolio. What makes this piece for me is the constellation of "little choices" that combine to make this a consummate piece of storytelling. The juxtaposition of this particular subject against this particular background, the curation of this particular moment and this particular expression, the processing choices that home in on the coarser details without losing the overall impression of warmth and softness...it's all there.
