I need to study landscape photography more. None of my landscapes even remotely came across as "expanse". I think it's because I miss the foreground elements, or something like that.

This makes me want to go see Death Valley (ok, I already want to go for the night skies, but now I want to go even more. :)

Thank you Robert! But no, actually it was a 26-frame 360-degree panorama, just slightly cropped and deformed. Here is the original unaltered stitched image straight from the drone
