I don't get much of a sense of the music from looking at the photo... perhaps a slightly longer shutter speed with more motion blur from the hands could have helped. The head of the performer on the right spoils the shot. Noise is a bit excessive, I'd have used a lower ISO with a longer shutter speed. Performer's expression doesn't seem particularly special.

I really like this, my one thought is cropping in the middle of that far left column to crop out the over exposed exterior would make this a 9 in my book. You still got 8 though! excellent.
