While the photograph as it is seems to be technically competent, even if not terribly interesting, I wonder if it wouldn't have been better had you focused just on the ground, where there apparently are awesome textures, shapes and forms right under your feet for you to explore and capture in great detail.

I love all of the variation in texture and hue here. The golden on the left mountain against the navy blue of the right - nice complementary colors. And the white of the hints of snow amidst the brown and warm tones of the foreground. Really interesting treatment. I love the title too. I wish there were one single something like a bird, a flower, a dead branch, one "off" thing and it would really make it perfect for me. 7
