Frozen Solitudeby alfrescoComment by eostyles: Nice choice but I think the trees in the back may be a bit too sharp. I could be wrong though. Other than that I like. |

Frozen Solitudeby alfrescoComment by espy2: It's a postcard. Don't like the top crop. Would have left in more tree tops to contain the image more, and dropped some of the bottom right snow instead. Not sure you had a choice or not based on angle of the shot, but I will still give it a (9). |

Rule of 4thsby alfrescoComment by Jutilda: I'm a big fan of old windows. I like the gritty feeling this has with the rough hewn logs. Nice compositionally, too! |

Pond of Shadowsby alfrescoComment by Jutilda: JP!!!! I love this. It has a lonely simplicity to it. The single bench against the blanket of stark white is stunning. Come to Texas - it's in the 80's. |

Too Little, Too Lateby alfrescoComment by ShutterPug: I just realized I never left you a comment on this excellent shot - gave it a 9 back when we voted. Knowing now all the hassle it was for you to capture this, I'd have given you a 10. Perseverance sure pays off. |

A Lot of Roomby alfrescoComment by CalliopeKel: Jutilda told me that dining outside is the definition of the world alfresco.
This photo certainly says that to me. This set up shows that you have class and sophistication. Oh la la. |

Too Little, Too Lateby alfrescoComment by CalliopeKel: Wow, you went through a lot of effort for this picture. I don't think the sun shining dimenished anything. I've often seen it rain while the sun is shining, particularly when I lived in Florida. The muscles were an extra nice touch, and I'm thinking its what made this photo have the impact that it does. I doub't I would have ever questioned that was rain had you not said so. Great work JP. |
