Shower of Aphroditeby alfrescoComment by mpeters: "some dodge, some burn." "Some talent" i say. Nice picture with a great range of colors. Perfect exposure lenghth for just the right amount of water blur. I also like the heavy vignetting. |

Abandonment - Sepiaby alfrescoComment by CEJ: I like this composition. The building has a very strong presence. The processing really adds to the character of the structure and helps to keep it in its own time frame. Nicely done! |

Shower of Aphroditeby alfrescoComment by Bolti: Greetings from the Critique Club!
Very nice exposure we have here :)
You have the colors, sharpnes and shutter speed juuust right, much longer or shorter would only have been worse.
But What I don't get here is how the corners could get so dark. Well they kinda put the focus on the waterfall but it would have been nice to make the WHOLE picture with all 4 corners in on it aswell :)
I think waterfalls allways score good on DPC and I believe you have a good waterfall picture going on here, congratulations on your score and I hope I helped a litle with my critique
Have a great day! |

Superior Wavesby alfrescoComment by SJCarter: Wow... Nature's fury. She can be harsh, huh? This is really interesting on a number of levels. Love the tonal range again (you kill me with your grays & blacks). So many textures and so much movement. There's a whole lot going on inside that frame! Very well seen & presented. |
