Awesome photo, but I have had to make the decision that a "fiery sunset" does not fit the spirit of this challenge. Though it is possible this place was ravaged by fire, this does not carry across to me in the image. Again, a wonderful shot that I hate giving a low vote to, but I must. To do otherwise is unfair to the entries that did do something related to actual fire.

I tried to get up there to photograph the fire. This is a fantastic scene that captures the intense mood and heat. Definitely abstract, and I doubt many voters would see this as a fire without the title.Well done. 9 from me.

I agree - terribly underappreciated. We all have different tastes, but this is a wonderful shot that just didn't grab enough voters. Be proud of it, anyway.
