Palms Upby Art RoflmaoComment by posthumous: yes, a good composition for the square, with the swooping parenthetrees. The contrail pulls it all together. It's like C3PO in Star Wars, or the secretary in Darkest Hour. |

Palms Upby Art RoflmaoComment by mariuca: streetpigeon hit the nail on the head. Yes, it has a searching feel, a congregation of the wise, a clarity of purpose.
One of the best palm trees image I saw here |

EPENT NOW!by Art RoflmaoComment by streetpigeon: This is great, both as a photograph and a find. The truck is well-placed and beautifully blends into the background, the wood grain and flaking paint. I figure it's not, but it does look like a facade, a two-dimensional front to a vast background. I like the shapes, textures and colors. Cinematically, this appears to be about 45 seconds into the movie, the truck first a speck in the distance, now upon us as the story unfolds. |

Palms Upby Art RoflmaoComment by streetpigeon: This convocation of arboreal giraffes, especially with this perspective, works well in the square format. It's clean and not quite simple. To wander farther afield, it reminds me of wise men and the star of Bethlehem, to channel the spirit of the season. That contrail is like an accent. ¡Olé! |

EPENT NOW!by Art RoflmaoComment by nam: Now this is a find! Love the perspective - he's coming for us :) Usually in a head-on view, I see the headlights as the eyes, but here, the windshield takes over and the lights are just big dimples . . . kind of weird because this guy should NOT have dimples when he smiles. |

Small Sea Gets Smallerby Art RoflmaoComment by nam: Really nice layers - love blue and brown (or any gold or yellow, really) together. The variety of textures is great here, too.
He's getting so tall! How old is he now? |
