Wine Glassby jemisonComment by Bear_Music: More shallow DOF than bokeh, to me. Wonderful calrity on the glass. Overstaurated in the yellow range, to my eye; the leaves are taking me away from the blass. |

Their Favorite Game , 1987-2003 (Penny.....R.I.P.)by jemisonComment by oggi: This is in response to your forum post - I rated this an 8, as I thought your photo was quite good and I picked up on the connection to pets and their people pretty easily. Like other people have said, the lack of a pet probably was what brought you down.
I was actually surprised to see this photo rate so low in the challenge. But I guess you can't please everyone.

Their Favorite Game , 1987-2003 (Penny.....R.I.P.)by jemisonComment by pcody: I do believe that the lack of a pet is what inspired the low votes. If you look at the votes though, it seems as if a lot of people got the connection and gave you at least a decent vote instead of a one or two. I'd say you got by pretty easy on this one.
ps I didn't vote. |

Their Favorite Game , 1987-2003 (Penny.....R.I.P.)by jemisonComment by cpanaioti: I have to say you're trying to sell your image based on the title. I believe an image should speak for itself.
Another way to present this idea could have been to include a picture of the parted pet. This I think could have had a lot of impact.
The lack of a pet in the picture could explain the number of low scores.
As far as composition goes I think you had a good idea of focusing on the frisbee (I think that's what it is). |

The Crowdby jemisonComment by scrum8: I like the texure and lighting. I wonder if a tighter crop would expose the face more. |

The Crowdby jemisonComment by Skip: there's so much detail here that it takes a bit of work to really see the face |
