Everywhere by JudiComment by snaffles: I wasn't trying to imply anything about her hands, Judi. I have somewhat good-sized paws for a woman, too. It's just the angles that, to me, make her hands - esp in a portrait showing delicacy and grace - a little too noticeable. That's all. If you choose to be offended, then I'm very sorry. Everywhere by JudiComment by Judi: Originally posted by aliqui: I really like this image in theory. The colors are great, composition is great, all kinds of great things happening.
However, what's going on with the hair that crosses over her body? There's chunks of hair appearing and disappearing all over the place. If you were to reuse this image for another application, I would suggest taking a closer look at those areas and making sure the hair connects to her head rather than appearing to come from her palm or pit, heh. |
Hi Aliqui
I was waiting for someone to mention that. I thought it would be brought up during voting but it wasn't! I was fully aware of her hair across her body when I edited. I did make it solid but it seemed to cut her in half...I liked the effect when it was opaque so I left it like that. I preferred the gentle effect it had on the overall image in comparison to either solid or no hair at all. I hope that makes sense? |

Everywhere by JudiComment by tanguera: I believe "mythical" is the operative word. Something very unique and hypnotizing about this glorious image. Congrats on the (predicted) ribbon :) |

First Photoby JudiComment by PapaBob: What a cutie, nice photo looks like the stork just dropped him/her off.
One little nit pick is the bright spot where the branch was cut off is a real distraction, might be nice to clone that out but other than that I like the shot. |

Everywhere by JudiComment by gyaban: I agree with Bear, the hair is wonderful, and your choice of color for the background is perfect. You have a beautiful daughter indeed, and you surely know how to lit her and give her beauty justice. Congratulations about it, and of course about the ribbon. |
