Additionally, it is highly interesting/eclectic meaning it keeps me here long enough to offer a longer comment and a vote of 8 or more.

This is one of my 8s - I like it. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Bold and bright composition that works perfectly
2. Such delicacy in the pelicans
3. Sharp where it needs to be
4. Well controlled exposure
5. Great balance in your elements.

Eek. I hate to say it... because... I do like this image... but... I don't see anything beautiful about it. Not even the dreary colors are pretty to me.

She seems very angry and she's altered my mood from the last beautiful image that I voted on.
