More of the picture should have been in front of her instead of behind her, but I do like the picture

Nice job. My favorite (besides my own of course) I would have liked more tombstones, but this is a very touching photo. I suspect she does not know you were there. BW works well too. 10 David Ey

Loneliness is a tough fear :) In this photo, the first critique that I have to offer is that is a bit over ezposed. Secondly, Since your subject is on the left side of the frame and looking to the left, there is a lot of dead space in the right half of the image. If your subject was facing towards the left or if she was positioned on the right side of the frame, the photo would be more appealing to me. If this doesn't make sense, send me a note and I'll try to explain it in a little more detail :) = 6 - jmsetzler

This is very expressive and deeply touches the heart. For many older women it is their deepest fear.

I'm sure you're breaking one or two of those "B/W photos MUST..." rules, but I don't care. You nailed the challenge! those posts behind her hurt it a little. maybe a differnt angle would have worked?

in french, i would have say : "poignant". The position of the model on the side of the bench is great, and she's facing the left means she's looking at her past life !
Terrific !
