Really interesting shot. The blow-out contrast is what makes it interesting but, I'm wondering how it is being taken by some of the "purists" who prefer less overexposure??? I'm going to watch this one post challenge to see how it does because it's really different. :)

The light is straight on -- one can tell by the catchlights in your eyes and the complete lack of contrast in your face. It makes for a very uninteresting portrait (not helped by your total lack of expression). Light to the side, or natural light through a large window to one side of you, would have greatly enhanced this, as would a smile, or a side glance, or an upward look taken from slightly above, or anything but such a prosaic dead-on shot. 4
