Comment by jomari:
Vertical crop suits this much better. The snow looks fine to me.

I didn't notice the overlit snow until you said something. The textures of the snow on the block wall were compelling enough, really.

I like your choice to convert from horizontal to vertical for this.

Good crop. If the snow is overexposed, add a monochrome channel mix adjustment layer in lightness mode. It may help the snow.

Crop works well, and coloring/tone is fine for me -- the extra-white snow is not a distraction from the subject.

Comment by Kelli:
It reminds me of a dog standing on his hind legs begging. Since he's wearing a very raggedy coat he must be homeless. I'd suggest letting him come home with you, giving him a meal and letting him warm up by the fire! LOL!

What a job you've done on the processing compared to the original! The focus on this is exceptional, with it being on that water droplet allowing the viewer to see the image within. Well done.

Finally getting around to finishing comments for the Dec. Side Challenge:-)

Agreed more sharper focus to show greater detail would have been a wonderful shot for the challenge. The shadow of the plane against the buildings just gives you a wonderful sense of scale on how big the plane is without seeing the actual plane. A very different 'street' scene this is:-) For me, the streets in the shot make me think of the runway even more. The juxtaposition of the airplane and the city streets make me think of where we 'park' our modes of transportation.

Heh! I love him amidst the pigeons. They look rather unimpressed with his presence.
