What a job you've done on the processing compared to the original! The focus on this is exceptional, with it being on that water droplet allowing the viewer to see the image within. Well done. |

Great photo. I really like the shallow DOF, and the water drops a refracting some interesting shapes as well. As with the other comments, the grain is the only drawback. Some noise ninja, or other noise reduction should fix that easily. |

I think your crop and color adjustments work well, and shallow DOF is perfect; love the tiny details refracted in the water drop.
Compared to my camera, that's minimal grain, and in the soft OOF areas it is not a distraction at all for me -- I think people are usually way over-sensitive to it. |

I like this edit best. Even though it's a bit grainy I still like the reflections in the water droplet. Maybe a bit of ninja might help with the noise factor. |

It is grainy but it doesn't appear this grainy in the original (that I can see). Not sure how you processed it, but I'm wondering if your sharpening step enhanced it. If so, maybe selective sharpening? Have you tried noise reduction? The original has some really nice radial geometry, and there isn't a lot of in-focus detail here, so I think like the original a little better.
Great subject matter though, and the color is stunning. I really enjoy your nature shots... |

This version is lovely. The colours have so much more life and that beautiful droplet with the refracted image in it is given its due importance. |
