This is clearly not a wildlife photograph in the generally accepted usage of the term; the cage is clearly visible. Lighting was clearly harsh, and parts of the bird are over-exposed. Doesn't work for me.

I like ferns I really do. These seem a little soft to me, I would of sharpened them a little or made them stand out somehow more. I use detail extractor in CEP and they give them that HDR look without the image being HDR.

I like the winding road also, nice leading lines, but you might get pinged because it's a landscape challenge, and this strikes me as something different. This would of done well in the 'out of the car' challenge though :)
