Not sure if you have a circular polarize filter but I can see some extreme potential to up the blues with it to really make those sweeping clouds pop out of the shot.

I kind of like the fence post in the shot but it takes away from the theme of the challenge. Your eyes automatically focus in on the post because of the contrast of the sky, trees, etc. If it wasn't included the viewers eyes would follow the lines of the trees, shrub, etc.

Eye leading is what makes a shot interesting and memorable. I know that I myself need some help in this :)

Beautifully captured composition. A bit more sharpness would definitely help improve the scene. Taking shots of droplet of water is very difficult, but your attempt is worth recreating as this type of shot would be very saleable.

The contrasting colors are really beautiful and make this very interesting. The colors of the ripples gives a surreal feeling.

Tiny bit of noise reduction would also help here. This is definitely a great do over shot/recreation shot. If you do please post for everybody to enjoy.

Choice of subject matter is good. The use of depth of field who really help to bring out the details in the Hot Wheels. The details in most Hot Wheels vehicle makes it a good subject to get close to.

The viewers eyes after looking at the beautiful flames seem to wonder around the image. Giving the shot more dof would give a certain point of interest and make the composition more striking.

The focusing seems to be on the reflective surface that the car is placed on. You can almost feel the texture of the bookcase. This definitely works very well with the vibrant colors reflecting off the surface.

This is very Frank Llyod Wright-ish to me.. right down to the grainy apsect, the muted contrasts, and the duo-tone architecture. It's a wonderful capture. 8

This photo should have scored a lot higher. This shot is way better than a bunch of yellow sails and a yoga sign as far as I'm concerned.

Well, you seem a bit cynical. I would have liked the droplets in focus, but I still gave it an 8. Last time I checked, I've not really seen too many blue ribbons score an average higher than that. I love this picture, so did a lot of people. Many others gave it a 9.

OH SO CLOSE! if the droplets were in focus, this would be a winner, hands down. i give it an 8 for effort, others may or may not be so kind.

nice idea and color though!
