This is my first submission. I am very interested to see what feedback I get. It is also the first time I have taken a photo of this kind. My favorit pics to take are wildlife and candids.

The Merc above is a 1/64th scale Hotwheel from my collection. I places it on the bookcase in my livingroom. A 4D mag light was used to wash over the front of the Merc and reflect off of the back and sides of the shelf. A thick layer of Pledge was used on the shelf to help with the reflection. The only adjustments to pic are Crop and resize for the web. No levels, No colour, Nothing else.

Thanks

Choice of subject matter is good. The use of depth of field who really help to bring out the details in the Hot Wheels. The details in most Hot Wheels vehicle makes it a good subject to get close to.

The viewers eyes after looking at the beautiful flames seem to wonder around the image. Giving the shot more dof would give a certain point of interest and make the composition more striking.

The focusing seems to be on the reflective surface that the car is placed on. You can almost feel the texture of the bookcase. This definitely works very well with the vibrant colors reflecting off the surface.

This is one of the few car models I enjoyed because the forground reflexions where so interesting. This kept my attention even more than the actual model. Excellent photo.

Photo seems soft or slightly blurred for some reason.

i see that you were trying to get the shadow of the car into the shot as well but the composition is suffering a lot right now... it seems like the photo was been divided into half, with the top half being almost jam packed and the bottom half being completely empty.

I don't think this meets the requirements for the assignment.
