White Flightby SandyPComment by SJCarter: Terrific capture of motion and the lightness of the egret against the darkness of the background makes for a much more interesting and artistically balanced photo. The fact that the head & feet are "somewhat" in focus really grounds this image. Terrific range of motion captured in the wing movement. |

Hear that Train a Comin'by SandyPComment by SJCarter: This is such a major step forward from your first attempt. Love the reds and the vague "focus" on the engine & train cars. This shows good movement and good motion blur with cool colors. |

Calm in a Spinning Worldby SandyPComment by SJCarter: I think this is a good exercise in becoming more accustomed to feeling comfortable with blur. And I agree that I think you'll be more satisfied with the results when you make the blur compliment the feeling or movement of the base image. To me the blur here doesn't really serve a specific purpose (other than to be blurred). And in some cases that may work, but not sure it does here.
Don't get me wrong - I was at a COMPLETE loss for blurred inspiration, but after seeing some of the results of other people's work, I'm starting to grow into some very new, very novel perspectives. |

Sacred Rythmby SandyPComment by thinktank: I felt that a grayish color, or by using a yellow-black duotone would have potrayed the mood of the photo better. However I am just a new bie..so I might be wrong... |
