The flowers are indeed beautiful and the lilac/yellow/green colour combination works fantastically

Super dof as well which gives the backdrop a hint of bokeh without diminshing its impact

Sandy, I was shocked that this did not finish higher in the FS as I thought it was a nailed on ribbon when I saw it

I love the fact that you have got a great deal of softness in the image and that the colours almost look pastel. This contrasts wonderfully with the pure strength of the stag (though its expression is one of tender/kindness rather than any type of threat or aggression)

Super composition as well, another simply breathtaking image
