What stands out most for me is the tone. My brain is telling me that this looks like the yellow of an 'incorrect' white balance. The yellow of the music sheet could suggest an aged look, but the rest of the image lacks any white. The image isnt a true sepia or tinted image (at least as it appears to me) so hence the 'too yellow' feel.

The image itself reminds me of a whodunnit. There is an unspoken story and an element that engages the brain.

Good clarity on this shot...though I think maybe it's a touch to yellowed for my tastes. Composition looks good, and I like that you included the base of the goblet.
