Day 12 - "Off to see the Wizard"

As far as I recall, "The Wizard of Oz" was the first movie I ever saw. South Africa didn't have TV yet then (we only got it some time in the mid-seventies) and I'm sure it would have been even more frightening on the big screen. I obviously must have found it really scary, because the next film I was taken to was "Hello Dolly" and I made my parents leave half way through because I was expecting something scary to happen.

Since TV, I think kids are much less sensitive. Some years later I remember my neighbour's kids, at the age of about 2, watching a really violent wildlife documentary, and it didn't seem to bother them at all.

Great colors in the sky and I love how the starts pop out. It must have been a great time to ride and take pictures. The clouds on the right side look like the tree's shadow - giving it even more of a surreal effect.

Just read the comments - looks like I wasn't the only one to notice the "shadow"!
